On 19th July 2020 students got an opportunity to participate in the virtual summer camp organized by the school. The Summer Camp was planned from 19th July to 28th July. The summer camp started with the online registration form 12th to 14th July. In Category I, the student of grade 1 and 2 got an opportunity to choose from the various categories like Paint your world, Little Chef, Wonder time and Fantastic Gymnastic. The students got an exposure to various activities like in Paint your world children brought out their creativity by learning different ways of painting. In the Fantastic Gymnastic, student was motivated to learn about Gymnastic showcasing how flexible and ready they are to be Olympian gymnastics in the future. In the Little Chef workshop, students tried their hand at some lip-smacking recipes. They tried a recipe each day and were truly our master chef’s. For Wonder time, the students brought out their hidden scientist out and performed activities which included some STEM challenges. In category II, the students from grade 3 to 5 got an opportunity to choose from the various categories like Film Your Font, Junior Scientist, Bend it like Bruce lee and Technobot. In film your font, students brought out hidden talent of acting and different expressions. For Junior Scientist, students were guided to become little scientists by exploring various experiments. Bend it like Bruce lee was for the martial arts lovers, taekwondo was taught to them along with basic first aids to make the students act at a time of emergency and face the real-world situation. In Technobot, students created a projector and 3D glasses in a very innovative way. In category III, the students from grade 6 to 8 got an opportunity to choose from the various categories like Art factory, Magic soccer and Humanoid In Art factory students were introduced to different types of arts like abstract painting, canvas, stop motion animation and making a doll from old recycle bottles, embossed bottle art and antic style bottle art techniques. The students mastered in the different silks of football and the students enjoyed the playing home football during the Magic Soccer workshop. In Humanoid, students created mini-robots. On the final day, the students got a chance to showcase their learnings in front of their peers through a Virtual Exhibition. The students were presented with appreciation and participation certificate for actively taking part in the summer camp. In these 9 days the students experienced a fun-filled journey full of exciting activities sure to come back next year for the same.
